Haaland scores a penalty in stoppage time: "It feels unbelievable!"

In the 25th round of the 2025-26 Premier League season, Manchester City came from behind to defeat Liverpool 2-1 at Anfield Stadium with a stoppage-time penalty.
After the match, Erling Haaland, who scored the winning goal, could not hide his excitement. He admitted that the victory brought him an incredible feeling and emphasized the top mentality shown by his teammates in adversity.
Despite being a seasoned top striker, Haaland admitted to feeling immense pressure standing at the penalty spot in stoppage time. In a post-match interview, Haaland revealed, "I was really nervous before the penalty."
"All I could think about was putting the ball in the net. I couldn't do it at home before, so I've been practicing it a lot. I'm so glad the ball went in at the end."

In addition, Haaland also gave the highest praise to goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma's divine save in the final moments, saying that his performance was extraordinary and that it proved why Donnarumma is the best goalkeeper in the world.
